The miniature Australian Shepherd has the same qualities and structure as the Standard Australian Shepherd with the exception
that they are from 14" to 18" in height. They are extremely smart and athletic which makes them great working dogs. They are a
fairly new variety of the standard Australian shepherd but are growing rapidly in popularity.
Our minis are bred down from champion standard lines. This helps to maintain good bone and substance essential to a working dog.
Our dogs can do a days job and still compete in the show ring. We want our dogs to not only be an asset to the owner but also a
wonderful companion. With the help of other breeders and their experience we strive to produce a quality dog with temperament,
structure, ability and desire to reach their full potential on the many roads they may travel.
As with all breeds there are some genetic faults and to try to insure the integrity of the breed we have our dogs eyes certified, elbows,
hips, patellas, thyroids, checked for problems prior to breeding. We also do MDR1 Drug Sensitivity testing and send our pedigrees
in for genetic problem evaluations. Puppies eyes are checked before being offered to new homes and we strive to match temperament,
conformation, looks and ability to the needs of the new owner. We want them to be loved, happy and appreciated at their new home.
Our prices reflect the care and effort put into our puppies.
Mini Aussies love to go whether it is riding the range, barrel races, horse shows, dog shows or just a trip to town. They are very much
a people dog and are very loyal. They need attention, exercise and love so be sure you can provide these before considering one.
